This device is a compact industrial DTU for Edge Connectivity applications. It comes with 2 x RS 485 or 232 serial ports, 1x 10 or 100 Mbps Ethernet port, and a built-in Mini PCIe socket to support 4G LTE or 3G or 2G or NB-IoT or Cat M1 cellular module. These versatile capabilities make it prefect for kinds of serial and Ethernet devices, such as PLCs, meters, and sensors, to data centre over cellular network. Or as a serial-to-Ethernet Modbus gateway.
